- QuickExplore
- ============
- A little utility which (primarily) gives you access to all the drives on your
- system from the Windows 95 task bar notification area. It currently features...
-
- From the left mouse button:
- *** A list of drives on the system
- From the right mouse button:
- *** A list of drives on the system via a sub-menu
- *** Open the contents of your desktop folder (non-system items)
- as a window. This saves having to minimize all open windows to gain
- access to the desktop.
- *** Access to the Save Settings On Exit feature that we all loved
- in previous versions of Windows. This means that you can CHOOSE when
- to save the layout of your desktop. Once you have achieved your
- ideal desktop layout, turn the switch off and future closure of
- Windows will leave your desktop alone until you turn the switch
- back on again.
- *** Customize QuickExplore option
- *** Access to the printer properties for the default printer
- *** Up to ten custom applications which may be chosen using the
- Customize QuickExplore option
